One of Dr. Floyd Reed's central themes is developing a focus on underdominance in various ways.

Born on 25th December, 1972, in North Carolina. Study of biology and chemistry, doctorate Cornell Univ., Ithaca (2004), Research Associate Univ. of Maryland (2006-2008), Independent Group Leader Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Biology (since 2008).
