Welcome to the Max-Planck-Day!

On Friday, September 14, the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Biology in Plön is participating in the nationwide Max-Planck-Day. On the occasion of this "Science Festival" the MPI is planning three big actions:

Max Planck goes school: In the morning, scientists will go to 19 schools in the entire area of Schleswig-Holstein to give a different perspective on the subject of evolutionary biology.

In the afternoon, the institute opens its doors from 1 to 7 pm. You are invited to a science ralley for the whole family. Enjoy hands on experiments and discover what we are working on at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Biology.

In addition, Plön´s evolutionary path will be opened in the afternoon. The evolutionary path is based on the idea of the existing planet path in Plön. The history and evolution of life on earth is presented in a total of eleven stations.
