The Microbial Evolutionary Dynamics Research Group

The Microbial Evolutionary Dynamics Group investigates evolutionary principles using bacteria in the wet laboratory. Most of our work focuses on the evolution of translation (particularly tRNAs and termination factors). We are also interested in bacterial chromosome architecture, and its effects on evolutionary flexibility.
