Curriculum Vitae
Miguel was born in Portugal and studied Marine Biology at the University of Algarve, Faro, Portugal, where he received his M. Sc. in 2008. He did his PhD between 2010 and 2014 within the IMPRS of Evolutionary Biology on “Evolutionary Ecology of European Eels” in the group for Evolutionary Ecology for Marine Fishes with Prof. Dr. Thorsten Reusch at the Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel (Geomar). Miguel defended his thesis in december 2014.
