Curriculum Vitae
Gökçe was born in Istanbul, and studied Biology at Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey. Then, she moved to Germany where she received her Masters Degree in Evolution, Ecology and Systematic at Ludwig Maximilian University, Munich. Gökçe did her PhD in the Community Dynamics Group under the supervision of Dr. Lutz Becks working on how coevolutionary interactions between a predator and a prey can change in fluctuating environmental conditions. Gökçe graduated in 2017 and worked as a postdoc in the research group "Microbial evolutionary dynamics" at the MPI in Plön until the end of 2022.
