Curriculum Vitae
Elzbieta was born in Warsaw, Poland, where she studied Biology and Psychology at the University of Warsaw. She received her B.Sc. in Population Genetics in 2011 and continued her education at the faculty of Oceanography and Marine Environments at the University of Pierre and Marie Curie (Paris VI), where she obtained her M.Sc. diploma in 2014. She did her PhD at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Biology in Plön (Germany) working within the group Evolutionary Genetics of fish under supervision of Dr. Arne Nolte. Elzbieta defended her thesis in 2018 and continued her work as a postdoc.
