Curriculum Vitae
She comes from Hamburg, Germany, and studied Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in Kiel and Berlin. For her master thesis she worked at the MPI in Plön in the Community Dynamics group of the Evolutionary Ecology Department. She has started her PhD project with Dr. Linda Odenthal-Hesse of the Evolutionary Genetics Department, working on meiotic recombination in canids. Alina defended her thesis in summer 2020.
