Curriculum Vitae
Originally from the Netherlands she has lived in the UK since she was little. She read Zoology at the University of Sheffield, completing both her bachelor’s and master’s there in 2014.
In January 2017, she joined the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Biology in Plön as a doctoral student under the supervision of Dr Miriam Liedvogel. Her project aimed to shed light on the molecular underpinnings of migratory traits in the blackcap, Sylvia atricapilla. She took up a position outside academia in Cambridge, UK, in August 2021.
