Applying for European research funding is difficult and mostly not successful…

This can be true, BUT:

On October, 20, 2015 at 10 a.m. you can learn more about funding options for your level of carrier.

For all of you holding already a PhD-degree it could be interesting to learn more about grants coming from the European Research Council and awarding ground-breaking research ideas in any field of research.

For all of you holding at least a bachelor’s or master’s degree it could be interesting to learn more about Marie Curie fellowships dedicated to spending a couple of years abroad in order to gain more experience in research itself but as well in training skills required for your research career.

This interactive talk shall provide you with first information about these funding tools and give an insight into further support in order to write a successful proposal - because Max Planck Scientists are much more successful than the European average. So don’t be shy and apply!

After the talk there will be the opportunity to discuss in face-to-face meetings with Dr. Babett Gläser your personal situation and find the most appropriate funding tool.

Please keep in mind that every single research career is unique. Should you wish to discuss your personal situation after the talk please refer to Kerstin Mehnert (mehnert@evolbio.mpg.de) as she will organize the individual meetings. Don’t forget to bring your CV.
