Welcome to the Library

Our library is a service facility for scientific work at the Institute. For this purpose, it provides printed and electronic media as well as information for basic research on many aspects of evolutionary biology. The collection focuses on the research areas of the departments and working groups at the institute.

The library's services include i.a. the procurement of literature via interlibrary loan, support on Open Access, research data management and the management of scientists' publications in the repository of the Max Planck Society (MPG.PuRe).

The library is only accessible to employees of the institute.

We regret that our library is currently closed to external visitors. During renovation, only parts of the collection and selected journal volumes are accessible.
