Curriculum Vitae
I am originally from Sevilla, Spain, where I started my journey in Science. I did my Bachelor in Basic and Experimental Biomedicine but later found my passion in the field of Evo-Devo. After spending some time in the UK learning and developing my skills in different laboratories, I moved back to Spain, where I did my Master in Biomolecules and Cell Dynamics. Thanks to the different projects I took part in I was able to develop an interdisciplinary point of view and a broad range of skills together with an immense personal growth. Now, I am currently doing my PhD as part of the IMPRS program in the Evolutionary Developmental Dynamics group studying how the emergence of new genes affects the evolution of new structures. When I am not in the lab, I like to spend my time having coffee and cake with my friends, reading and going for walks in the nature.
